I remember floating paper boats with playing cards for sails down the curb, before we had curbs. I remember jumping in the puddles and not getting yelled at for it. I remember all those joyous times, and it’s a wonderful thing to see kids playing in the world.

I remember going around the block to that old guy’s house that Mom & Dad said we weren’t allowed to go to when Dial was a dirt road and listening to his “Raw Head and Bloody Bones” stories. ;^)

I also remember being on the other end of Biff or Thor’s rope in the back yard as he took off after something. Although I don’t remember exactly which dog it was, I have vivid recollection of not being able to let go as I was drug (screaming) out of our yard & up the pavement! :-O
